a rare complete set of forty-two issues of this important journal of russian art and russian culture. With contributions by Konstantin Balmont, Ivan Bunin, Sergei Esenin, Aleksandr Kuprin, Aleksei Remizov, Nadezhda Teffi, Marina Tsvetaeva, Boris Zaitsev and others. This elegant art and literary magazine was full of contributions by Russians who chose exile over living under Soviet rule. Dobuzhinsky provided the elegant decorations even for the children's section. Ivan Yakovlevich Bilibin was featured in Number 40, 1928; and all the art in the issue was his work. Cf.
