13. Attributed to Barthélémy-Augustin Blondel d'Azincourt (1719 - 1794). A pair of drawings depicting the heads of two young women. Pencil and red crayon heightened with white on paper, oval.

Barthélémy-Augustin Blondel d'Azincourt, son of the collector Augustin Blondel de Gagny, was an important French patron, collector, and amateur engraver. A close friend of Boucher, he owned over 500 of his drawings along with those of his contemporaries. Azincourt sold his collections in two sales in 1770 and 1783. He was killed during the terror in 1794.
