"I am the camera" - Kertész inscribes his self-portrait.
Arriving in Paris in 1925, Kertész was the first photographer to have a one-man exhibition of his Dada influenced pictures at Sacre du Printemps Gallery and was published by editor Lucien Vogel in Vu. In America, Kertész had a solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in 1964.
